7    TEE OFF PROCEDURE FROM TEE NO. 1 & TEE NO. 10 Posted On 10/01/2017

1.         It is a fundamental principle in all reputable Golf Clubs that Priority of play is accorded to golfers playing 18 Holes. Therefore, there should be no delay for such Groups crossing over to tee off from No 10 Tee. The same holds good for Groups starting from No 10 Tee and crossing over to No 1 Tee.

2.         Keeping the above principle in view, it has been decided to implement the under mentioned procedure for Teeing off from No 1 and No 10 Tee.

3.         Registration of all Groups

All Fresh Groups are to register with the Starter at No 1 Tee and proceed accordingly. No group will be permitted to Tee off without the permission of the Starter. The decision of the starter will be final.

4.         Tee off From No 10 Tee

a.         The Present system of Tee off from no. 10 Tee will continue – one fresh group and one crossing over from no. 9th green will continue.

b.         Tee no. 10 will be closed from 9 am to 10.30 am and from 2.30 pm to 4 pm for the fresh groups. This will facilitate the groups playing 18 holes to move fast and maintain the required pace of play.

5.         However, if there is a clear hole gap on hole no. 10, the Starter may permit a fresh group to Tee off from no. 10 Tee during the closed hours (4b). This will be at the discretion of the starter whose decision will be final.

6.         The above revised procedure has been carefully discussed and approved by the Management.

8.         The procedure will come into effect from 11.1.2018.

9.         The above procedure will be effective on trial basis till 28.2.2018 and will be reviewed for betterment, if required.

Other General Regulations

10.       The group with four ball configuration, consisting of minimum of three players, which reports to the first to starter at Tee no. 10 will have priority to Tee off over the other group with the crossover sequence.

11.       At least 2 members of the group must report to the starter to register their turn to Tee off on weekdays, and 3 members on weekends and holidays, at Tee no. 10. Similarly, 3 members will be considered to tee off at Tee no. 1 on all days.

12.       All previous orders on the subject are hereby cancelled.
