Noida Golf course, Noida one of the premier Golf courses in India is primarily a golf course of 18 holes spread over close to 97 acres is seeking to recruit a ‘COURSE MANAGER’ on contractual terms with under mentioned Qualification, responsibilities, skills etc. 


A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Supervises and administers the overall functions of the golf course; administers personnel and budget actions; assigns new employees; prepares preliminary budgets and staff requirements.
 
 
1.Requisitions supplies and equipment

2.Plans, schedules, and supervises the repair, care, maintenance, and operations.

3.Directs and schedules the mowing, watering, weeding, rolling, spiking, and fertilization of greens, tees, and fairways.

4.Supervises and participates in the propagation of grass and other plants.

5.Suggests methods for and supervises the control of fungus, weeds, rodents, and insects.

6.Directs the use of fungicides and insecticides for control of disease and insects that are harmful.

7.Supervises the maintenance and repair of equipment.

B. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1.Certification from appropriate authority or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

2.Must have 5-7 years of experience in any reputable golf course in the NCR region.


 
C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 

 
Considerable knowledge of recreational operations and maintenance work.

1.Thorough knowledge of the methods used in the care and maintenance of golf courses.

2.Thorough knowledge of the care and maintenance of grass greens.

3.Thorough knowledge of the uses and operating methods of equipment and tools used in golf course maintenance.

4.Considerable knowledge of turf diseases and the chemicals and methods used to control them.

5.Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of subordinates engaged in golf course care and maintenance.

6.Ability to estimate materials, supplies, and equipment needed in golf course care and maintenance.

7.Ability to keep records and prepare reports.

Emoluments will be based on exposure, experience, qualification and skills.

      1. Under USGA system of Handicapping, members are required to submit score cards for each round played.
2. It is observed that many members in NGC have not submitted any score card for the last 18 Ė 24 months. In terms of USGA system of Handicapping, these members do not have a valid handicap.
3. The Handicap Committee has thus decided that these membersí name shall not appear in the handicapping list of NGC.
